I have experience with several agents over the last 10 years both buying and selling and I will attempt to describe how Cheryl and her team are head and shoulders above her peers. First, the most important quality for a realtor is to act as a fiduciary to their client. This means that the best agents advise their clients only to what is in their best interest. That sounds easy but it is less common than many would think. There were several times that Cheryl and her team advised us to walk away from a deal or to get additional information that other buyers didn’t have and it made all the difference. Next, agents should deliver on what they say they can deliver on. Cheryl accurately assessed our home and after a top notch marketing process, she was able to sell for over asking price. This is not an exaggeration - Cheryl achieved 20% more than another agent based in Montgomery County said they could get for our home. There is no way we could have done the deal we did without Cheryl and her team’s insight and guidance. The only negative part of our experience is that we won’t get to work with them again for a while because we were able to get the home of our dreams and we are probably never moving out because we love it so much. Again, we got it because Cheryl gave us the edge we needed and didn’t let us chase deals that we shouldn’t have.
